在磁磚展廳設計思考上,我們希望改變以往磁磚展廳的設計思路,為該空間提出一套新的空間組成模式,從檢討舊有空間的使用模式中找尋新的空間構成機制。
以往的磁磚展廳設計總希望將所有產品配置於眾多的情境間展示,造成空間整體氛圍混亂,各式磁磚無秩序的充斥於空間之中,也因為大量設置情境間的緣故,造成整體參觀動線混亂,使得參觀動線猶如在進行著一場迷宮式的探訪。
我們希望把從前單一扁平的空間使用模式,轉化成一種空間的序列:聚、展、談,透過這樣的序列明確定義出空間的區塊與使用模式,創造出一種有節奏,有方向性的空間布局,並從中定義出該磁磚品牌特有的空間故事與質感。
The design thinking of exhibition hall for ceramic tiles aims to change the conventional approach while seeking new spatial mechanism based on examining the old behavioral mode.
The conventional design approach attempts to create many individual exhibition halls for each setting. The resulting chaos reveals eclectic ceramic tiles filling up the place. The layout of these rooms disturbs the overall circulation. The detouring within the designated circulation becomes a walk in labyrinth. We transform the monotonous behavioral mode into a series of spaces that gather, unfold, and interact. The spatial sequence demarcates distinct sectors and behaviors and creates a rhythmic, directional configuration, through which the unique spatial stories and texture of branding of the ceramic tiles are told.

Design Methodology
1.空間解構後重置
目前業內磁磚展廳大多都有一樣的問題,為了大量展示產品所以配置大量的情景間,但這樣的平面布局會造成大量的動線切分,整個展間猶如迷宮一般,參訪時動線選擇困難且不易塑造空間主題。
在這個作品中,我們說服業主放棄既有空間組構的模式,不要大量設置情景間,把空間解構後開放出來。
我們在整個平面的中央區域設置了一個橢圓形多功能活動空間,所有附屬空間皆繞著這個橢圓形空間配置,一方面透過這個橢圓形之形體形塑出整個空間的設計主題與企圖,另一方面增強了遊走在這個空間裡的空間識別性。
1. Deconstruct and Reassemble the Space
A common pitfall in most of the tile exhibition space is a flood of scattered room settings that exhibit a large quantity of products. The layout, however, trivializes the circulation and turns the exhibition hall into a labyrinth. It is disorienting for the visitors and difficult to shape a thematic space.
We persuade the client to renounced the existing mode of spatial configuration, deconstructing and freeing the space from the eclectic scenographic rooms.
We place a multi-use oval space on the center, surrounded by secondary spaces. The figure of oval delineates the them and intention of the space, while enhancing its orientation as one strolls in the space.

2. Giving Multi-use Programs to the Space
Breaking the monotonous mode of typical tile exhibition hall enables the accommodation of eclectic activities and the large flow of movements. The space reveals the core value and product feature of One Enterprise as one moves through the space. The soft marketing of multi-use space replace the monotonous hard way of marketing.
a.多功能活動空間
在整個平面核心中央區的多功能活動空間裡,可以提供各種不同性質的活動在此進行,平時提供休憩與選材的使用,同時歡迎各式文化、藝術、展示等靜態活動在此進行。
a. Multi-use Activity Space
The multi-use activity space occupies the central area of the overall layout, accommodating different activities. In the common days, it also functions as recreation and material display zone. All kinds of culture, art and display happens here.
b.情景間
過去的情景間設計邏輯多是櫥窗設計的概念,可觀賞卻無法使用,且情景間裡的道具盡可能的使用自家的磁磚產品,從地板到牆面、櫃子、主牆等,我們希望空間需要留白,產品展示亦是如此,因此,把情景間變成真正可使用的機能性空間,休憩區、水吧區、沙發區,以及戶外休閒區,讓空間除了情景展示外亦可真正複合使用。
b. Room Setting
The shop-window design of typical room settings is good looking at best and useless in most cases. The tile products fill up the ceiling, floor, cabinets and walls of the room. Nevertheless it is necessary to leave some areas of emptiness in production exhibition. This is when the rooms become functional spaces of recreation, bar counter, couch seating, and outdoor recreational areas. The space is truly multi-purpose beyond a mere “setting.”
3.設定主題空間
在設計的過程中,我們與業主方一直強調未來所有建材與自然、環保連結的重要性,整個企業產品導向皆以大自然的元素為產品主題設定,故我們將這次全球營銷中心的設計將主題定義成一個仿自然的空間,創造出在山巒樹林之間的氛圍,有一群人在木屋裡外,或行走或聚會,一場自然中的盛宴即將開始。
3. Establishing Thematic Space
Throughout the design process, we stresses the significance of sustainability in all construction material in the future. The theme of the business gears toward nature-oriented product. We establish a nature-like space for the theme of the global sales center, creating the atmosphere of gathering and strolling among the party of nature in the mountain forest.
a.劃出層次
一個將近2000m²的營銷中心,需要一個明確的層次系統來組構這個空間,其中牽涉到有些產品需要在必要的時候提供隱密性的需求。因此,我們將整個平面配置成中央開放式活動空間和私密性情景間二個區塊,在這二個區塊的隔斷上採取了90度定位的旋轉門片,當門片打開時,二個空間彼此流通串聯。當需要隱私時,將情景間隔斷的門片閉合,就能達到開放與私密區隔的功能。
a. Demarcating Hierarchy
A sales center of two-thousand square meter behooves a system of distinct hierarchy to configure the space. Some products requires privacy. Therefore we divide the layout into two sectors— a open central activity area and the private room settings. Among these two spaces are the revolving doors that filter the connection in between. The opening and closing of the doors depends on the degree of privacy needed for the particular moment, thus achieving the functional separation between openness and privacy.
b.創意構成
壹號智選在產品力的建立上除了強調自然元素以外,陶瓷的燒製技術亦是達到高端產品的必要條件,我們想突顯空間的工藝高度與藝術性,以符合該展廳的企業產品高標形象。
在橢圓形多功能活動區的構成上,我們採用一種特殊的木格柵系統,透過數位化的序列設計,將每個板片數位輸出、編碼,再輔以結構計算,為的是求取一種精緻工藝展現的氛圍,並讓人對此空間有一深刻的空間記憶點。
b. Original Structure
With all efforts to use natural elements, the making of ceramics is still the required condition for high-end product. We emphasize the craftsmanship and artistry of the space in order to fit the high-end business image of the exhibition all.
We adopt a specific wooden grating system for the structuring of the oval multi-use activity area. The digitized seriality of the design is achieved by the exporting, coding, and calculating of each panel. The precision of refine craftsmanship impresses the visitors with its memorial space.
4.開創展銷空間意境
透過設計,我們希望在這個展廳的設計上能帶給使用者更多的空間想像與會心一笑的瞬間,用一種更高的藝術性與趣味性來取代原本冰冷的展廳設計形式。我們希望使用者能享受在這個空間遊走、探索與發現的動態感受。順著森林裡的橢圓形木屋,你會發現大自然裡的元素形塑的不是高級感,不是某種形式,取而代之的是一種令人想要探索的慾望,而這份純粹的空間感受亦正是壹號智選的系列產品所想要表達的產品語言。
4. Create Meaningful Place for Sales and Exhibition Space
Through careful design, we aims to bring more joy and imagination to the exhibition hall at each fleeting. Artistry and curiosity replace the coldness of typical exhibition hall. We encourage the visitors to stroll in the space, to explore and discover their experiences. Along the oval wooden house in the forest, you realize the elements in nature do not shape a sense of high-end quality through visible forms. Instead, it is the sense of curiosity that inspire people to explore. The pureness of spatial perception is the language that One Enterprise aspires to convey through its products.
